HeadVeg products are made with only the healthiest ingredients, and are suitable for people with dietary restrictions. Brown rice syrup and agave are the primary sweeteners, we never use white or brown sugar, which raise blood sugar quickly and results in a sugar crash. HeadVeg products are made with alternative flours, such as whole grain Spelt, Garbanzo Bean and Brown Rice flour, which are higher in protein and fiber. Other flours, like white flour, act like a pasty sludge in your digestive tract, slowing everything down, and are very difficult to digest. We use primarily coconut oil, which is a medium chain "good fat" that actually speeds up metabolism, and high-oleic, cold-pressed safflower and sunflower oils, which are high in vitamins A and E and essential fatty acids.
